The Fidlock mount enables carrying the Thirstmaster 5000 bottle and ensures an integrated look. Thanks to the baseplate it is also possible to install a standard water bottle cage (please refer to the manual).

Situated at the lower shock mount, the Flip Chip makes it quick and easy to adjust the geometry according to the terrain and riding style. The low position provides for a more aggressive headtube angle and a bigger BB drop, ideal for fast and rough tracks. In the high position, the headtube angle is 0.5 degrees steeper and the BB is higher. The higher BB gives more ground clearance and better performance on longer steep climbs.
In addition to the double-sealed industrial bearings used, all pivot points are equipped with an additional seal to keep water and dirt at bay. This protects the bearings and extends their service life.
To optimize the weight to performance ratio, the contact surfaces for the integrated headset are pre-formed directly in the frame. Additionally, the ZeroStack design ensures a high level of durability thanks to the integrated bearing shells.
For optimal protection, all cables are routed almost completely through the frame. They are guided through the chainstay with internal cable tubes, while they are wrapped in foam as they pass through the main frame to reduce weight and at the same time prevent noise. All cable ports are protected against the ingress of dirt and water with cable plugs. Additionally, the cables are secured on the head tube with cable clamps and they are routed over the main pivot to prevent chafing.
The rubber chainstay and seatstay guards, help prevent unwanted noise and damage which may be caused by the drivetrain.
Both the newly designed Thirstmaster 5000 (835 ml) and the Thirstmaster 4000 (600 ml) FID LOCK bottle fit in the frame snugly and will ensure you always stay hydrated when out on a ride.
