- As soon as we receive this information from you we will send you a new “FOX DHX2 Performance Elite” shock including all accessories.
- You will also receive via e-mail a link to the video instructions for the replacement.
- You can check the arrival of your new shock via delivery tracking and you will be able to install it to replace the old shock following the video instructions.
- You’ll return the replaced shock to us in the reusable box with the help of the return label.
- If you turned to a bike shop for the replacement, please obtain a receipt for the work done in your name with date, price, and a brief service description – then send it to us via e-mail together with your bank details.

If you decide to have a bike delivered to an address within the EU to export it yourself to a non-EU country, you will first have to pay the VAT of the country of delivery. To be able to claim the VAT back, you will have to fulfill the following conditions:
- Mandatory documents/information:
- Original invoice of the purchase stamped by the custums authorities of the EU export country
- Your bank account details (IBAN and BIC) for the VAT refund
- You can only export the package for private, non-commercial travel
- The invoice must be stamped at the time of export (subsequent stamping is not allowed
- You have to export the parcel within 3-months of receipt (delivery date on the invoice)
- The person who exports the goods must be the third country buyer, e.g., the person of the billing address. Please contact us to have the invoice address changed accordingly after you placed the order
- You have to send us the original stamped invoice by registered mail
- The customs office and the date of the EU customs stamp must be recognizable and legible so that the export can be recognized by the tax office, which allows us to process the refund.
When leaving the EU for a non-EU country, the YT invoice together with the passport (as proof of residence in the non-EU country) and the unused original goods can be presented to the EU customs authorities as export confirmation to confirm the export by an EU customs stamp.
We recommend keeping a copy of all the documents as a record.
As soon as we have received all the above-mentioned documents and information, your request will be processed, and the VAT refund initiated.
We will charge a processing fee of 3% of the net amount, at least €25 per request. It will be deducted from the amount before the VAT is refunded.
Please note that in case of a warranty claim, you will need to arrange shipping to the original shipping address and back to your address yourself and at your expense.

Once you received your bike, you have to mount the handlebars, wheels, rear derailleur and pedals. Then your bike will be ready to ride, as everything has already been pre-assembled in our factory. You only need to adjust the saddle height to your leg length and the suspension to your weight and personal preference. For setup recommendations, please use our Suspension Setup Guide.

You are entitled to the statutory warranty for the first 24 months.
As of 2018, we grant an additional 3-year guarantee on our frames. This means you have an overall guarantee period of five years from the date of purchase on the frame.
You should always report defects or damage immediately in order to be able to make a warranty claim. (You can find detailed information in our General Terms and Conditions under point 8)".

As a second-hand owner, you will need the original invoice to make any warranty claims.
If you buy a second-hand YT, you are still entitled to the remaining term of the legal 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
However, our voluntary additional 3-year guarantee only applies to the original owner.
The legally regulated guarantee of two years applies to parts and suspension. Wear parts are excluded from this regulation. To maintain the warranty claims, please also adhere to the maintenance instructions of the component manufacturers.

The guarantee does not cover wear parts like axles, bearings including seals and lubricants (ball bearings / angular contact bearings/needle bearings, etc), plain bearings, suspension bushings, and seals, drive train components (chain, sprockets, chainring, freehub), brake pads and shifting cables.
The warranty is required by law and amounts to 24 months for new goods from the invoice date.
The guarantee is a voluntary service on our part.

The bank requires the following documentation:

Choose the "Financing" payment method in the shopping cart and place your order. You will then be redirected to the website of the bank, where you'll find all the information about your financing and be able to select the installments, the term and additional services. You then have to have your identity confirmed and sign the contract. As soon as the bank gives the green light and your order is available, we will deliver the goods immediately.
- You are an employee and have been working for your current employer for at least 3 months.
- Your employment is permanent for the next 12 months; or
- You are a pensioner with a permanent pension; or
- You have been self-employed for at least twelve months.

All banks are legally obliged to carry out an identity check. The identity of all new customers must be verified before a loan can be granted. This check is also done for your own safety. You have the choice of whether you want to carry out the identification using the Postident procedure in the nearest Deutsche Post branch or online via a video call (with a PC, tablet or smartphone). In the latter case, you can close the contract with an electronic signature or you can sign a printed contract and send it in by post.
After adding your goods to the shopping cart, you can select the "Financing" payment method as you check out. You'll go through a short online application process with the bank. After the preliminary credit approval, choose the option to close the financing online.
Online identification: you will now be redirected to WebID, a partner of the bank. A WebID employee will verify your identity via a video call. You'll need to have access to a webcam, a mobile phone, and a valid identification document. The identification process will conclude via an SMS code (mTAN). You are probably already familiar with the mTAN procedure from your online banking.
Online credit agreement signature: read through the credit agreement at your leisure and confirm via two check boxes that you have read the agreement and that you agree with its content. You will then sign the agreement via another mTAN verification process where you enter an SMS code in the web browser.
It may take a few days for the bank to review your financing application. You will be notified by Santander Bank as soon as your application has been finalized. At the same time, the bank lets us know if your application for financing has been approved and the goods can be shipped. Unfortunately, during the time that the bank is processing your financing request, we cannot give you any information about your exact shipping date.
After adding your goods to the shopping cart, you can select the "Financing" payment method as you check out. You'll go through a short online application process with the bank. After the preliminary credit approval, choose the option to print the credit agreement and bring it to the post office.
Identify yourself at a post office branch: print out the application and read through the documents at your leisure. Sign the contract in the places indicated and enclose the documents required by the bank. Seal the documents in an envelope and take it along with the Postident form to the nearest post office. An employee of the post will confirm your identity using your valid ID card or passport.
After receipt of your financing application by the bank, we will deliver the goods you have ordered immediately (subject to a final positive verification after receipt of your documents).
Yes. You have the right to revoke the purchase contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods, you are then no longer bound by the credit agreement. You can also revoke the credit agreement directly, but this also cancels the purchase agreement. If you want to maintain the purchase agreement without the credit agreement, please contact YT customer service. Details can be found in the cancellation policy of the credit agreement.

Leasing is a special form of rent. With company bike leasing, your employer is the lessee and pays the monthly installments. In return, you receive part of your wages / salary for 36 months as a benefit in the form of a bicycle. This reduces your taxable income. Since you can also use the bike privately, there is a monetary benefit that has to be taxed monthly (1% of the list price of the bike). This saves you up to 25% compared to a direct purchase. If your employer pays the costs for insurance and inspection of the bike, you can even save up to 50%.
In order to be able to lease a JobRad from YT, your employer must offer JobRad. Your HR department can tell you whether or not this is the case. If your employer has not yet joined JobRad, you can request an information package without obligation.
All YT bikes in the current range can be leased, except for bikes that are not in new condition, e.g. bikes from the YT Outlet. Due to the associated administrative costs, YT-JobRad requires a minimum value (per bike) of € 749 including VAT. Please note that the YT Bikebox and the shipping costs can be leased in addition to the bike.
When you conclude a YT-Jobrad agreement, you can add bike accessories and save even more. Accessories eligible for leasing are:
In such cases, Jobrad conditions include a right-to-buy clause which allows you to acquire your bike if you so wish. You can learn more about this on the Jobrad FAQ page.
If you leave the company before the end of the 36-month contract period, there are various options. Further information can be found under JobRad Contract Changes.
A leasing contract through JobRad is a contract that is binding for both parties as soon as it has been signed. This means that you cannot cancel the order afterwards - on the other hand, you also do not have to make a down-payment.
In terms of guarantees, warranty and maintenance, it makes no difference whether you lease a YT bike via JobRad or buy it directly. Regarding maintenance, we're happy to be at your service here. We have our own workshop located in our headquarters where warranty and maintenance work is carried out professionally.
