We weigh our bikes in the smallest size available without pedals. You can add approx. 300 g per size. Due to manufacturing tolerances, the actual weight may vary by +/- 5%.

Our set-up guide includes not only the appropriate values and settings for your weight, but also step-by-step instructions regarding how to adjust the suspension components.

The warranty is required by law and is valid for 24 months for new goods from the invoice date. The guarantee is a voluntary service on our part. If you discover a defect in the delivered goods, please contact our customer service department at +49 (0) 9191 7363050 or use the contact form.

You are entitled to the statutory warranty for the first 24 months. As of 2018, we grant an additional 3-year guarantee on our frames. This means you have an overall guarantee period of five years from the date of purchase on the frame. You should always report defects or damage immediately in order to be able to make a warranty claim. (You can find detailed information in our General Terms and Conditions under point 8)".

Unfortunately, you will lose the warranty and guarantee if you modify the frame. (You find more information in our General Terms and Conditions under point 8).

As a second-hand owner, you will need the original invoice to make any warranty claims. If you buy a second-hand YT, you are still entitled to the remaining term of the legal 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. However, our voluntary additional 3-year guarantee only applies to the original owner.

The legal 2-year warranty applies to add-on and suspension parts. In order to keep the warranty effective, please also adhere to the maintenance instructions of the component manufacturers. The guarantee does not cover wear parts like axles, bearings including seals and lubricants (ball bearings / angular contact bearings / needle bearings, etc.), plain bearings, suspension bushings and seals, drivetrain components (chain/sprockets/chainring/freehub), or brake pads/fluid and cables.

If your frame has been damaged following a crash or a fall, we provide a Crash Replacement service to allow you to purchase a new frame at a special price. More details can be found in the Crash Replacement section, or in the Service area under "Support - Customer Care".

Leasing is a special form of rent. With Bikeleasing, your employer is the lessee and pays the monthly instalments. In return, you receive part of your wages/salary as a benefit in the form of a bicycle. This reduces your taxable income. Leasing is significantly cheaper than buying directly - save up to 40% off the RRP!

To lease a YT Industries bike through Bikeleasing, your employer must be signed up to the Bikeleasing scheme. Your HR department can tell you whether this is the case. If your employer has not yet joined Bikeleasing, what are they waiting for? You can request an information package with no obligation.

All bikes from 649 EUR up to 15,000 EUR can be leased, but your budget may be limited by your employer.

Leasing is cheaper due to the tax advantages it offers. With Bikeleasing, the employer is the lessee and gives the bike to the employee. When leasing a bike through an employer, the employee sacrifices part of their salary in exchange for the bicycle, reducing the taxable income for both parties. You can lease your company bike for 36 months.

You can include any accessory that can be permanently attached to the company bike in the lease. You cannot include clothing, helmets, or accessories, so you'll have to buy those separately! A lock with a minimum purchase price of >48 € gross must be purchased when leasing a bike, which is added automatically to the shopping cart.

Yes, the whole family can hit the trails! As long as it's pre-agreed with your employer. Bikeleasing-Comfort-Insurance and Bikeleasing-Wear-Insurance cover family use of the bike as long as this is established within the contract.

Three months before the lease term is up, Bikeleasing will make the employee an offer they can't refuse (or can, if they wish) to become the owner of the bike.

Sometimes sh*t happens, but Bikeleasing has your back. They offer three insurance policies: A fully comprehensive Bikeleasing-Comfort Insurance, Bikeleasing-Wear Insurance, and the Bikeleasing-Inspection Package. Bikeleasing-Comfort Insurance is compulsory for every lease agreement, while the other two remain optional, depending on the regulations imposed by their employer.

Leasing is a special form of rent. With company bike leasing, your employer is the lessee and pays the monthly installments. In return, you receive part of your wages / salary for 36 months as a benefit in the form of a bicycle. This reduces your taxable income. Since you can also use the bike privately, there is a monetary benefit that has to be taxed monthly (1% of the list price of the bike). This saves you up to 25% compared to a direct purchase. If your employer pays the costs for insurance and inspection of the bike, you can even save up to 50%.

In order to be able to lease a JobRad from YT, your employer must offer JobRad. Your HR department can tell you whether this is the case. If your employer has not yet joined JobRad, you can request an information package without obligation.

All YT bikes in the current range can be leased, except for bikes that are not in new condition, e.g. bikes from the YT Outlet. Due to the associated administrative costs, YT-JobRad requires a minimum value (per bike) of € 749 including VAT. Please note that the YT Bikebox and the shipping costs will be part of the leasing in addition to the bike.

When you conclude a YT-Jobrad agreement, you can add bike accessories and save even more. Accessories eligible for leasing are: Pedals

In such cases, Jobrad conditions include a right-to-buy clause which allows you to acquire your bike if you so wish. You can learn more about this on the Jobrad FAQ page.

If you leave the company before the end of the 36-month contract period, there are various options. Further information can be found under JobRad Contract Changes.

A leasing contract through JobRad is a contract that is binding for both parties as soon as it has been signed. This means that you cannot cancel the order afterwards - on the other hand, you also do not have to make a down-payment.

In terms of guarantees, warranty and maintenance, it makes no difference whether you lease a YT bike via JobRad or buy it directly. Regarding maintenance, we're happy to be at your service here. We have our own workshop located in our headquarters where warranty and maintenance work is carried out professionally.

Once delivered, customers may contact the MILL to organize dropping off their bike for a Pro Build. It is, however, possible to Click and Collect Bikeleasing orders.

We currently only allow one bike to be purchased per Click and Collect order. If you would like to order multiple bikes, you will need to place separate orders.

Every JEFFSY includes our Thirstmaster 6000 bottle and cage – an innovative 620ml hydration solution that seamlessly integrates with the frame for perfect fit. While many other conventional bottle and cage options will fit, the Thirstmaster 6000 sits lower in the frame, offering optimal clearance.

Ultimately, the choice between a 29” and mullet setup depends on ride style, terrain, and personal preference. With mid-travel trail bikes, riders prioritize rolling and climbing efficiency, stability, and straight-line speed, making a full 29er setup an excellent choice for the JEFFSY.

The JEFFSY MK3 geometry has been developed around a 150mm fork. This travel offers a balanced ride and optimal pedaling and climbing characteristics. However, riders prioritizing descending can equip a 160mm fork for enhanced big-hit performance.

For our first bike with downtube storage, we started with the carbon fiber JEFFSY. Carbon fiber is easier to work with than aluminum tubing, making it a better choice for this complex feature.

Every model in the range features a lockout for the rear suspension. Additionally, internal routing is available for a handlebar-mounted lockout system if desired.

- Shorter suspension travel (around 130mm to 140mm) suitable for smoother trails and climbing
- Geometry optimized for climbing and agility on less technical trails 

We advise against this. By installing a 27.5" rear wheel, the center of the axle will be 18mm lower. In turn, the bottom bracket (BB) height would drop by 12mm, compromising pedal clearance and potentially becoming a hazard. Even with the flip chip in the high position, the BB would remain 4mm lower than its original low position.

A real mechanical lockout does not exist in modern suspension components. Instead, the pedaling platform lever or the compression lever can be used to almost fully close the compression damping, which results in a very firm suspension feel. This is achieved by significantly restricting the oil flow in the system.

A linear suspension requires an evenly increasing amount of force to compress. A progressive suspension becomes exponentially harder to compress towards the end of the stroke.

Volume spacers (tokens/bottomless bands etc) are small inserts that can be used to reduce the volume of an air chamber thereby modifying the behavior of the suspension. If for example you frequently use up all the travel and bottom out hard, you can add one or more tokens to the air chamber. At equal sag, this will increase the progressivity during the last part of the suspension stroke which will prevent the suspension from bottoming out. Conversely, if you do not use all the available suspension travel despite running the correct sag, you can remove any pre-installed tokens from the air chamber to enable the shock to use more of its stroke. The number of tokens used affects the progressivity of the suspension: More tokens = more progressive Less tokens = more linear Please observe the manufacturer's instructions regarding the maximum amount of tokens that can be used, as well as token installation and removal. We recommend starting by adding or removing two tokens at the same time to make sure the effect is noticeable. Once you are sure that you do indeed need the shock to be more or less progressive, you can fine-tune the amount of spacers one by one to determine the right number.

Start by making sure that the air pressure and sag are correct for your weight. If the problem still persists, you can try to gradually reduce the compression damping. For coil shocks, a lighter spring rate may be required. You can read more about how to swap out coil springs in the relevant manufacturer's manual.

Reduce the number of spacers, set the sag according to your weight, and try again. For coil shocks, a lighter spring rate may be required. We started with a very basic version of the Suspension Guide for the Rolling Circus in 2019. The latest edition is much more advanced and comprehensive, yet still easy to use, so it is now ready to be offered to all our customers as well. Collecting the required data for bikes before 2019 is almost impossible today, as the data for each individual bike model is gathered by our team rider Erik Irmisch on a test track and these bikes are simply no longer available to us.

Every suspension component manufacturer recommends a full service at minimum yearly, or more often depending on the number of riding hours. If you ride aggressively, race, or ride in bad weather conditions (very wet or dusty), it is recommended to shorten the service intervals.

From a mechanical point of view, the spring can consist of different materials: With air suspension, the air is compressed, producing an exponentially higher counter-pressure at the end of the compression stroke, which generates a progressive spring curve. With coil suspension, the spring is often made of steel (or other metals like titanium). The resistance or counter-pressure of a metal spring increases in a linear fashion as the spring compresses, which generates a linear spring curve.

Please contact the manufacturer directly (if possible), or turn to your nearest suspension center, as we do not offer any suspension customization services ourselves. Please always follow the manufacturer's recommendations if you intend to make any modifications to your suspension components.

Low-speed refers to the speed of compression and rebound suspension situations and not the actual riding speed itself. Examples of low-speed suspension situations are rider weight transfers, hitting berms, etc.

High-speed refers to the speed of compression and rebound suspension situations and not the actual riding speed itself. Examples of high-speed suspension situations are jumps and drops.

Rebound damping refers to the amount of damping that affects the rebound phase of suspension travel. Rebound damping should always correspond to the air pressure and be set according to the manufacturer's recommendations, with only minor deviation, if at all.

Compression damping refers to the amount of damping that affects the compression phase of suspension travel.

The "System Weight", which is also often referred to as the permissible "Total Weight" is the sum of: 

SAG is the measure of how much the suspension compresses under the rider's weight. For a harder suspension setup, you run less sag, and for a softer feel, you run more sag. Sag correlates to the suspension air pressure or the coil spring weight.

We generally forward the suspension components to their respective manufacturers for service, so it usually works best to combine this service with an annual inspection of the bike itself. To test a YT you´ll need to bring a photo ID (drivers license/ ID card) and at least a helmet. We do recommend to wear proper riding gear incl. protection.

You can test the bike 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the location of the Rolling Circus demo stop.

No, it´s free of charge. We just need your ID as a deposit while testing the bike which you´ll get back once you return the bike.

You do not have to register or reserve a bike. We will offer bike rentals on the day, but if you want to demo a particular model or size, we recommend reserving a bike beforehand. Booking links will be available about two weeks before the event takes place. Depending on the event and location, we may offer reservations for the whole day or only the first couple of hours.

No, the test bike(s) will be set up specifically for you by one of our specialists.

We calculate the estimated ship date starting with the latest information we have from our suppliers and assembly factory. Given the high degree of uncertainty in the bicycle industry supply chain at the moment, we recognize that our ship dates will not be as precise as we would like – the majority of bikes will in fact ship earlier than our estimate, but in some cases, the promise date could be missed due to unanticipated delays in component delivery. We pro-actively inform pre-order customers via e-mail with any changes to the estimated ship date as we receive new information.

Yes. Special repayments and a complete repayment of the credit are possible in accordance with the legal provisions. 

Once you received your bike, you have to mount the handlebars, wheels, rear derailleur and pedals. Then your bike will be ready to ride, as everything has already been pre-assembled in our factory. You only need to adjust the saddle height to your leg length and the suspension to your weight and personal preference. For setup recommendations, please use our Suspension Setup Guide.

Shipping of bikes within Germany takes between 3-5 work days. Small parts can usually be delivered a little faster.

From 2024, bikes are shipped with the YT Toolbox, which includes all the tools you need to assemble the bike (Allen key, torque wrench, shock pump, anti-slip paste, tyre pump). 

If you have selected the payment method “Prepayment” for your order, you can change the payment method after oder completion pay by PayPal or credit card. To do this, simply go to your order overview on our website and click on "Payment methods". 

You can finance your entire shopping basket as long as it is between €250 and €15,000.
