Luis Blattner

At first glance, Luis doesn't look like a typical cross country racer but more like a gravity dude from Tattoo City. His results and his attitude on the trails prove that he's more than just a character however, as he has the drive and the determination to back it all up too. Luis started mountain biking in 2008 and one year later, he stood at the start line of his first marathon race. He was told that if he could finish the race in two and a half hours or less, he would be really, really good - it took him less than two! Because a single performance is not enough, a mountain bike club was created in his hometown which addressed the formalities required for Luis to take part in the German Championships.  Since 2019 Luis is mixing things up in the Elite category and we are super stoked to have found a real Young Talent for our IZZO.
