The warranty is required by law and is valid for 24 months for new goods from the invoice date.
The guarantee is a voluntary service on our part.

You are entitled to the statutory warranty for the first 24 months.
As of 2018, we grant an additional 3-year guarantee on our frames. This means you have an overall guarantee period of five years from the date of purchase on the frame.
You should always report defects or damage immediately in order to be able to make a warranty claim. (You can find detailed information in our General Terms and Conditions under point 8)".
Unfortunately, you will lose the warranty and guarantee if you modify the frame.

As a second-hand owner, you will need the original invoice to make any warranty claims.
If you buy a second-hand YT, you are still entitled to the remaining term of the legal 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
However, our voluntary additional 3-year guarantee only applies to the original owner.
The legal 2-year warranty applies to add-on and suspension parts. In order to keep the warranty effective, please also adhere to the maintenance instructions of the component manufacturers.

Please note that the warranty does not cover wear parts.
The guarantee does not cover wear parts like axles, bearings including seals and lubricants (ball bearings / angular contact bearings / needle bearings, etc.), plain bearings, suspension bushings and seals, drivetrain components (chain/sprockets/chainring/freehub), or brake pads/fluid and cables.
If your frame has been damaged following a crash or a fall, we provide a Crash Replacement service to allow you to purchase a new frame at a special price. More details can be found in the Crash Replacement section, or in the Service area under "Support - Customer Care".
