Downhill bikes are made to go big, rough, and fast. Race tracks or bike park: with a downhill bike, you’ll dominate the toughest tracks in the world. Uphill performance? Take the lift! We’re only talking about downhill here. For this reason, we developed our TUES together with the YT Mob. Objective: four World Cup and two World Champs titles.
‘Nuff said.

27,5"/ 29"
The TUES is fast, aggressive, and capable. Which TUES suits you better depends on where and how you want to ride it.
The TUES 29
The TUES 29 is Vali Höll’s weapon of choice, with which she continued her title winning streak in 2019: another overall World Cup title in the bag and World Champion to cap it all off. The TUES 29 is longer and just a bit more progressive than the TUES 27. The bigger wheels have a need for speed and make the TUES 29 one of, if not the fastest downhill bike on the market. For that reason, we recommend the TUES 29 for experienced riders over 167 cm in size, who are aiming for the top step of the podium.
The TUES 27
The combination of modern geometry and 27.5-inch wheels makes the TUES 27 agile, reactive and easy to handle even for smaller riders. As three-time overall World Cup winner, the TUES 27 is every bit as race-worthy as the TUES 29, but it is also a more versatile gravity bike. Fast on the race track, stylish in the bike park and incredibly capable – it’s not for no reason that our team riders use it for the Fest Series and Rampage.

With four overall World Cup titles and two World Champion titles under its belt, the TUES is full of self-confidence. Our award-winning V4L kinematics provide for great sensitivity, well-defined mid-stroke support and perfectly tuned end-stroke progression to deliver incredible balance and grip. The TUES really sticks to the ground and follows the track like it was on rails.
Add in the distinctive pop of the rear end and the low center of gravity and you’re looking at a bike that offers the perfect mix of control and agility for everything from high speed to big jumps. In short: the TUES is the perfect downhill bike, whether you want to be first across the finish line or have the most fun outside of racing.

“The TUES 29 is the best partner I can imagine for the World Cup! It’s well rounded, comfortable and extremely stable, everything I need for full-on racing.”

"The YT TUES is honestly the best free ride weapon I've ever touched. With it's incredibly progressive frame design, it allows me to drop massive lines at Redbull Rampage, or just mess around on jump trails. With riding a small frame, it easily spins or flips. It really is the perfect freeride bike. "
All Carbon Frame
Our carbon frames are voluminous, stiff and light. By placing carbon fibers of different resistance in the layup we can construct imposing tube cross-sections with variable wall thickness while keeping the weight low and optimizing the frame stiffness. Despite using a 150 mm rear axle, the rear triangle features a narrow profile to avoid coming in contact with your shoes.
All-Carbon Headtube
The contact surfaces for the integrated headset are preformed directly in the carbon structure. The homogeneity of the material in this area creates the ideal balance of weight, durability and performance. The ZeroStack design with integrated bearings ensures a long service life, while the mounting dimensions allow the use of ZS49 / ZS56 Reach Adjust headsets – pro level adjustability for everybody.
Race-Specific Advanced Sealing Concept, Axial Lip-Seal (RASCAL)
In addition to the industry-standard internal seals of our high-quality, double-sealed full complement bearings, we use self-developed sealing washers, that protect all suspension linkage bearings and keep water and dirt at bay. Their axial lip seals increase the useful life of the bearings considerably to make sure that every TUES can withstand the burden of heavy racing use.
Frame Protection
Perfectly integrated guards protect the frame against rock impacts and scratches. Made from super-tough and wear-resistant PA 66, the downtube protector is bolted on and can be easily replaced. It is designed to wrap around the bottom bracket and thus provide extra protection for the side walls of the downtube in this critical area. Additionally, the chain stay and seat stay guards help reduce the noise from the drive train.
Integrated Chainsuck Protection Mechhanger
Should things get a little rough, the inconspicuous chain suck plates protect the frame from damage caused by a dropped chain. This keeps sensitive areas out of harm's way and helps prolong your frame's service life.
V4L / Virtual Four Link
Our proven suspension technology has been further refined together with the YT MOB on the race track. Now even more sensitive, the outstanding small bump compliance virtually sucks you to the ground while the great midstroke support really optimizes the use of the available travel. And the sweet pop makes sure you can get airborne at a moment’s notice. So you don’t bottom out harshly even after hitting the biggest jumps, the ending stroke spring curve is very progressive. V4L supports you around the sag point, ready to absorb obstacles but without being affected by pedaling forces.
Headbox
Our trademark feature, the voluminous transition of the tubes to the steering head, adds incredible stiffness to this critical area of the frame. The design of the HeadBox is optimized for use of dual-crown forks: the elaborate shape serves as a solid stop for fork bumpers while allowing us to optimize the wall thickness to make sure the frame comes with the lightness we are looking for in a modern frame. The internal routing ports are formed directly in the carbon and guide the cables cleanly around the number plate.
Internal Cable Routing
Details like internal cable routing with built-in cable guides underline our claim to fame in the world of high-quality carbon bikes. For ultimate protection, the cable is almost entirely hidden in the frame, while the perfectly integrated ports and cable clamps make for a super-clean look. The full-length cable guide is held in place by a bolted clamp in just one area, making it easy and fast to swap cables when needed.
Custom Rear Axle
Developed in-house, our self-locking thru-axle features an insertion aid, which makes assembly easy and safe even under difficult conditions. To minimize the contact points with the rear triangle, the rear axle is also completely sunk.
Single Sided Hardware Access
MOB-pit approved: All the linkage hardware can be fully disassembled and assembled from one side of the bike. This makes maintenance easy and fast, since you no longer have to turn the frame around to work on it.
