I live in Cham in rural Bavaria and have been mountain biking for about 9 years. I get to ride my bike almost every day, which I really enjoy! Before beginning my MTB career, I used to participate in go-cart racing. This always involved a good deal of hassle whereas I was looking for a sport where I could simply head out the door and get started without having any major problems, as was often the case with the cart racing;).

Then one day, I came across the New World Disorder 3 Freewheel Burning Video and thought to myself I must try that out sometime...on a smaller scale of course!
I gradually improved and realised that this was exactly the right sport for me and that it suited me to a tee.

Since the end of 2004, I've been fortunate enough to have sponsors. I've also finished my apprenticeship as a draftsman and so have been able to concentrate since then more on mountain biking and on living my dream.

As of last year (2010), I've been under contract with YT Industries, which I am over the moon about!!

I like
Riding my bike
Good weather
Big dirts
Good parties
LIFE
Sessions with the 26 duuuudes
Chewing tobacco
Snowboarding
Trampoline

I don't like
Bad weather
Injuries
Irritating people

My Riding Style
I always try to ride my bike as stylishly as possible because that way the tricks will look all the more smooth. I usually do dirt jumps or ride slopestyle but I also love shredding in the bike park with the Noton or the Tues.

What motivates me
I often train alone when I'm doing my backyard dirts and so I can really motivate myself when some guys come around to go biking, like my team-mate Tobi Wrobel. Learning new tricks can be an amazing feeling too, when you manage to execute them perfectly, pedal to pedal.
